Why am I seeing a notification that says "Simple In/Out got your location in the background" periodically?
Location Permissions on Android 10+
Android 10 introduces some changes to Location Permissions. If your phone is running Android 10 or higher, you have the option to allow apps to access your location only while the app is open or all of the time. Due to the nature of Geofences being monitored primarily while the app is in the background, you will need to make sure that the app is granted permission to use your location "all of the time."
Another thing to be on the lookout for is a new system notification that will periodically warn you that an app has access to your location permission all of the time. This is not a notification that we control and the Android OS sends it just to keep you aware. Please keep in mind that if you do take away Simple In/Out's full location permission, your Automatic Status Updates will stop working.
