How do I log in to the Simple In/Out apps?
The Simple In/Out apps give you multiple options for logging in.
Email Address
Select this option to log in with your email address and password in your web browser.
Choosing this option will open your web browser where you will log in to the www.simpleinout.com website. If you are already logged into your web browser, it will confirm that you wish to log into the app as the current user.
After successfully logging in or confirming your login details, you will be prompted to open the Simple In/Out app.
Allow your web browser to launch Simple In/Out to finish logging into the app.
QR Code
Select this option to log in by scanning a QR code on your mobile device.
Use your phone's camera app to scan the QR code in the app. If you have the Simple In/Out app installed, it will open in the app to log in:
If you don't have the Simple In/Out app installed, scanning the QR code will open your web browser to log in:
After logging in to Simple In/Out on your phone, you will receive an authorization message and the app will update shortly after and complete the login process.
Troubleshooting (iPhone)
If you are having trouble logging into the Simple In/Out phone app on iOS, you may have your Safari preferences set incorrectly. Simple In/Out for iPhone uses Safari to authenticate using either your Simple In/Out email/password or Single Sign On. If after tapping to log in you receive an empty white page with no options to enter your credentials or sign in, you can reset your Safari settings on your device in the Settings app on your iPhone. Tap Safari -> Advanced ->Feature Flags. Then tap to Reset to Defaults.
