How to enable Multi-Factor Authentication
To protect your account from unauthorized access, we recommend all users enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Simple In/Out supports MFA via device applications like Google Authenticator, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator, or other options. This functionality is built into a lot of platforms now, like the Passwords app on iOS/Mac.
Once enabled, you will only be able to log into your Simple In/Out account if you know the email, password, and the proper 6 digit number that rotates in your authentication application of choice.

- Click Settings in the upper-right.

- Scan the QR code or type in the code into your authentication application of choice. After doing so, you'll have rotating 6 digit codes. Enter the current code into the Confirmation Code area to finish setup.
- IMPORTANT: copy or Download your Emergency Recovery Codes! These codes are the only way to access your Simple In/Out account if you lose the device with your authentication application of choice. Keep them in a safe place.
